"This is not anger, its RIGHTEOUSNESS!" -Douglas Robertson When I was in high school, 1980, in the 10th grade, I met this senior student in art class. This guy was definitely an odd bird, a unique individual. Actually I'm not sure he even belonged in public school because he was a schizophrenic. Maybe they had determined it was OK as long as he took his medication, but I'm not sure he really did. The only thing we both had in common was our love of art. We both liked weird art, like Dali, and we shared an enthusiasm for Picasso's graphic work. Once, in this class, we had to do portraits of the other students. He did his in pen and ink. The picture at the bottom of this post is an example of one of those. I have maybe one or two more examples of his work that maybe I will scan and attach to this post sometime. The portrait below is very interesting I'm sure we can all agree, but what is actually more interesting is that it does, or, did rather, look remarkably like it's subject, who

"Being poor ain't so bad" Junior then, seized by a bolt of inspiration, suddenly looked down, plunged his hand behind the couch cushions and rooted around a bit, stopped, and pulled out a lint covered piece of hard candy. He then hurriedly carried it off to the sink, rinsed it under the tap and promptly popped it into his mouth. "Oh yeah! Life is good!"

I believe the power of words is greatly exaggerated. You can't expect everyone to believe everything you say, nor can you expect your words to give you everything you want. Sentences are like keys, keys that open some locks but will not open others. I made several deviations about how people overestimate the power of words.

This is the first:

How I See Those Who Say Words Have Power

And here is the second:

Words Have Power-But Not Very Much

The third:

When Words Have Zero Power

On to the fourth:

Word Power And Lightning Power

Finally, the fifth:

The Power Of Words

Look at them and let me know what you think. Have a nice day.

The best one is the one with the lightening bolt. Wow. The photographer was either very lucky or very patient to get that shot.

I believe most of the media's power lies in its ability to control the simple-minded since they are very susceptible to emotional manipulation, and once you get the half-wits and midwits on your side the intelligent people will just fall into line naturally. This is because people with low IQs vastly outnumber the more intelligent, and the low IQ types have poor impulse control and are generally more violent, so smart people are careful not to openly cross them, especially these days with social media and so-called "cancel culture" out of control the way it is.

Then we need to reduce the number of simple-minded people as much as we can.
